JPRA Blood Chits
A small sheet of Tyvek® material with an American flag and a statement in several languages indicating that the US will reward anyone assisting the bearer to safety. It is an unclassified, but controlled item because it represents a written promise or obligation of the US Government.
The Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA) is a Chairman's Controlled
Activity. JPRA is designated
as DoD's office of primary responsibility for DoD-wide personnel recovery
matters, less policy. JPRA is headquartered in Fort Belvoir, Virginia
with schools located in Fredericksburg, VA and Spokane, WA.
